# 8x8 Meet Link Accessible After Deleting Event

## Symptom

8x8 Work meeting links can be accessed after deleting the meeting from the calendar.

## Applies To

- 8x8 Work
- Meetings

## Resolution

Meeting links can be accessed even after removing it from the calendar. Different meeting links can be generated each time in order to protect privacy. See [Create a Unique ID for Each 8x8 Meeting](/support/docs/create-a-unique-id-for-each-8x8-meeting).

## Cause

This is not a limit of the platform and is operating as intended.
