# 8x8 Voice for Microsoft Teams Guide for Administrators

## 8x8 Voice for Microsoft Teams

**8x8 Voice for Microsoft Teams** is a cloud-based PBX-to-PBX integration with Microsoft Phone System, which creates a seamless, behind-the-scenes integration of 8x8 Work phone service into Microsoft Teams.

## Requirements

- 8x8 X Series License
- 8x8 Voice for Microsoft Teams license
- Microsoft Azure AD for user Single Sign-On (SSO) is required to sign-in users in the 8x8 Teams app ([Learn more](https://support.8x8.com/cloud-phone-service/voice/admin-console/phone-system-settings/identity-management/configuring-ms-azure-saml-2-0-sso-for-configuration-manager).)
- To enable outbound PSTN calling for users without a Teams Phone license:
  - 8x8 [Presence Sync](/support/docs/8x8-presence-sync-with-microsoft-teams) enabled
  - 8x8 Work
