# 8x8 Work for Desktop Not Displaying on Screen

## Symptom

8x8 Work for Desktop is working in the background but not displaying on the screen.

## Applies To

- 8x8 Work for Desktop
- Windows Operating System

## Resolution

1. Open **Windows Task Manager**.
2. Click **8x8 Work for Desktop**.
3. Right-click and select **End task**.
4. Relaunch the app.

## Cause

If multiple monitors are being used, 8x8 Work for Desktop could be on a different monitor but have since disconnected with that monitor.
