# Add and Configure Sidecars in 8x8 Admin Console

## Objective

Add and configure a Sidecar to devices in Admin Console.

## Applies To

- Admin Console
- Poly Phones
- Yealink Phones
- Expansion Modules

## Procedure

1. Log in to [Admin Console](https://apps.8x8.com).
2. Select **Devices**.
3. Click **Add Device Model** in the top right corner.
4. Select the Sidecar device to use with the Poly phone and click **Add Device Model**.
5. On the home page select **Users**.
6. Click the **Edit** icon to the right of the user you want to change.
7. Select **Voice Basic Settings**.
8. Select **Line Key Configuration** next to device model (device must be activated for Line Key Configuration option to be available).
9. Select **Add sidecar** to edit sidecar keys.

> Speed dials will not appear on a sidecar until all speed dials on the main device are filled.
