# Add or remove avatar pictures on a user's extension in 8x8 Work

## Objective

Add or remove an avatar picture on a user's extension in 8x8 Work.

## Applies to

- Admin Console
- 8x8 Work for Desktop
- User Profile Avatar

## Procedure

1. Open **8x8 Work for Desktop**.
2. **Log in as the user** that is linked to that extension.
3. **Click on the profile icon in 8x8 Work for Desktop**.
4. Click on the icon to the left of the user's name to upload a picture.
5. Click **Upload Picture** or **Change Picture**.
6. **Select the desired avatar** to upload, then click **Open**.
7. Adjust the avatar then click **Save**. The uploaded avatar will then update the Admin Console User's page.
