# Admin Missing Passphrase in 8x8 Support Portal

## Symptom

Admin has no passphrase present in the My 8x8 Support Portal.

## Applies To

- 8x8 Support Portal (My 8x8)
- 8x8 Admin Console

## Resolution

1. Log in to [8x8 Admin Console](https://sso.8x8.com/sso/login).
2. Go to **Menu** > **Roles & permissions** > **Assignments**.
3. Select **Create Assignment**.
4. Under *Assigned to*, **select the user**.
5. Select **My8x8 Admin (default)** as the role.
6. Select **Save**.

Have the user log out and log back in to the My 8x8 Support Portal. The passphrase segment should now be visible.

## Cause

My8x8 Access was not assigned in Admin Console.
