# Cloud Storage Service API Callrecordingsource Object Type Fails to Download

## Symptom

Cloud storage service API callrecordingsource object type fails to download.

## Applies To

- Cloud Storage Service API

## Resolution

Use only the object types callrecording for 8x8 Work recordings and callcenterrecording for Contact Center recordings shown in the API's documentation.

## Cause

This is expected behavior. The callrecordingsource object type is not intended for use to download and is generated during the recordings post-processing for 8x8 internal use.
