Creating Personal Contacts in 8x8 Work for Mobile for iOS

Objective

 Adding personal contacts in 8x8 Work for Mobile.

Procedure

New Contact

1. Open 8x8 Work for Mobile.

2. Tap Contacts.

3. Tap Add Personal Contact (person icon with +).

4. Enter the contact details.

5. Tap Save.

 Personal contacts will show under My Contacts.  

From Call Logs/Voicemail

1. Tap Calls.

2. To the right of the call record, tap Info.

3. Tap Save.

4. Select Create New Contact or Add to Existing Contact. 

5. Enter the contact details.

6. Tap Save.

From Chat

1. Tap Messages.

2. Open the chat. 

3. Tap More (three vertical dots).

4. Select Create New Contact or Add to Existing Contact. 

5. Enter the contact details.

6. Tap Save.

Additional Information

Question: As a supervisor, how do I export one of my agent's contacts?  

Answer: That is not a supported feature at 8x8. No one, including managers or system admins can export the personal contacts of individuals.
