# Creating Personal Contacts in 8x8 Work for Mobile for iOS

## Objective

Adding personal contacts in 8x8 Work for Mobile.

## Applies To

- 8x8 Work for Mobile
- iOS

## Procedure

### New Contact

1. Open 8x8 Work for Mobile.
2. Tap **Contacts**.
3. Tap **Add Personal Contact** (person icon with +).
4. Enter the contact details.
5. Tap **Save**.

Personal contacts will show under My Contacts.

### From Call Logs/Voicemail

1. Tap **Calls**.
2. To the right of the call record, tap **Info**.
3. Tap **Save**.
4. Select **Create New Contact** or **Add to Existing Contact**.
5. Enter the contact details.
6. Tap **Save**.

### From Chat

1. Tap **Messages**.
2. Open the chat.
3. Tap **More** (three vertical dots).
4. Select **Create New Contact** or **Add to Existing Contact**.
5. Enter the contact details.
6. Tap **Save**.

### Additional Information

**Question**: As a supervisor, how do I export one of my agent's contacts?

**Answer**: That is not a supported feature at 8x8. No one, including managers or system admins can export the personal contacts of individuals.
