# Disable Beeping Sound When Ending a Call in 8x8 Work for Web and 8x8 Work for Desktop

## Objective

Disable the beeping tone that plays when ending a call in the 8x8 Work application.

## Applies To

- 8x8 Work for Desktop
- 8x8 Work for Web

## Procedure

1. Log in to 8x8 Work.
2. Go to **Settings**.
3. Navigate to **Audio & Video**.
4. Locate the option **Enable Call Handling Tones**.

6. Make a test call to confirm that the beeping sound no longer occurs

## Additional Information

Disabling the "Enable Call Handling Tones" option will also turn off tones for the following call events:

- When a call is placed on hold
- When a call is transferred
