# Disabling 8x8 Username/Password Fields and Forcing SSO Only

### Symptom

### Applies To

- Admin Console
- SSO

### Resolution

When SSO is enabled and you disable 8x8 credentials on the Identity page, the 8x8 username/password fields still appear.

Administrators cannot fully remove or disable the manual 8x8 login option; users will still see the password field and can log in with 8x8 credentials.
