# How do I change my 8x8 Contact Center Chat notification preferences?

## Objective

Change 8x8 Contact Center Chat notification preferences.

## Applies To

- 8x8 Contact Center
- 8x8 Agent Workspace

## Procedure

You can change the preferences of the message, sound, and browser notifications.

1. Log in to **Agent Workspace**.
2. Select **Menu** > **Profile**.
3. Under *Personalization* edit **Chat Message Sound**.
