# How do I hide 8x8 Contact Center extensions from the company directory?

## Objective

Hide 8x8 Contact Center extensions from the company directory.

## Applies To

- 8x8 Contact Center
- 8x8 Admin Console
- Extensions
- Company Directory

## Procedure

1. Log in to 8x8 Admin Console as an administrator.
2. Navigate to **Home** > **Users**.
3. Search for the Contact Center extension user that you want to hidefrom the company directory.
4. To the right of the user, click **Edit** (pencil icon).
5. Scroll down to **Virtual Contact Center (VCC) agent settings**.
6. Click on the slider to **disable** the setting.
7. Click **Save**.
