# How long does it take to fetch emails in 8x8 Contact Center?

How long after sending an email to the email channel in 8x8 Contact Center is the email sent to an agent as an interaction?

## Answer

It takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes after an email has been sent to the email channel before it is then sent to an agent as an interaction in 8x8 Contact Center.
