How to Disable the DND Feature for all Users Work Applications

You can disable the ability for users to set DND in the 8x8 Work applications company‑wide from the Admin Console.

Steps

Follow the listed steps to disable the ability for users to set DND on their Work Applications:

1. Go to Home > Work Apps Settings.

2. Scroll to the Status section.

3. Turn off ‘Allow user to set Do not Disturb’.

4. Click Save settings

Expected result

This removes the DND option from users’ Work app interface across the organization (for supported app versions).

Limitations

This setting affects the 8x8 Work applications.
It does not prevent users from enabling DND on physical desk phones, because that DND is controlled by the phone’s own firmware and cannot be centrally disabled.
