# How to Remove 8x8 Get Visual Voicemail Now Announcement

## Objective

Disable the Get Visual Voicemail Now announcement when I call the voicemail system from my desk phone.

## Procedure

[Create a Case with 8x8 Support](/support/docs/create-a-case-with-8x8-support) to request the voicemail welcome announcement be updated to ***Welcome to our voicemail system. Please enter your password and then press pound.***

## Additional Information

This change is done on a PBX basis only and does not require a PBX restart. Requests for this change to ten or more PBXs may require Professional Services along with associated fees.
