Problem
Algo 8180 functions as a pager, and not a ringer.
When the customer wants to use the Algo extension in a Ring Group, so it can alert by ringing over the speakers instead of paging.
Solution
The Algo needs to be activated using SIP Credentials.
How to factory reset the Algo:
If the Algo has already been activated using the Provisioning URL, then factory reset the device by navigating to the System tab and selecting the Maintenance tab.
In the Backup/Restore Configuration section, select the Restore Defaults button.

Select OK when prompted.

Select the Reboot button when prompted. After a few minutes, the device will come back online in its factory default state, including the default password: algo.

Algo Setup with SIP Authentication:
Log into the Algo and set the following for SIP registration (FOR SIP Integration only):
Auth name = GUN/Username
Page Extension = GUN/Username
Auth Password = SIP Password
URL = unsbc.8x8.com:5299
Set as NON-SRTP
SIP Registration:
Navigate to the Control Panel.
Click Basic Settings > SIP.

Enter the GUN into the Auth name and Extension.
Enter the SIP Password into the Auth Password.
Enter unsbc.8x8.com:5299 into SIP Domain.

Finally, check the device status page, and it should show as Ring #1 Successful.

The Algo will only function as a pager when activated using our Provisioning URL.
