# Integrating Algo Video Intercom with 8x8

## Objective

Integrating Algo Video Intercom with 8x8 services.

## Applies To

- 8039 IP Video Mullion Intercom
- 8036 IP Multimedia Intercom

## Procedure

8x8 Video integration is only with Hard Phones such as Poly, Yealink, or Cisco that have Video Capabilities enabled. It will not integrate with 8x8 Work for Desktop or 8x8 Meetings.

Algo with 8x8 service has been tested with the following:

- Algo 8036
- Algo 8039 with Firmware 2.0.1
- Poly CCX 700 with firmware 7.2.1.1707

### Algo Setup

1. Log in to the Algo and set the following for SIP registration:
  - Auth name = GUN/Username
  - Page Extension = GUN/Username
  - Auth Password = SIP Password
  - URL = unsbc.8x8.com:5299
  - Set as NON-SRTP

4. Enter the **GUN into the Auth name and Extension**.
5. Enter the **SIP Password into the Auth Password**.
6. Enter **unsbc.8x8.com:5299 into SIP Domain**.
7. Enter the extension to dial.

9. Set *Video Direction* in SDP to be *SDP Attribute "sendrecv"* ![clipboard_eac00beb31449c0c5a044cbd2e51f936d.png](https://cdn.us.document360.io/e3a59e39-abd3-4423-964c-0a4008dc5673/Images/Documentation/7629)
10. Extension must be an Extension, not a Call Group or Ring Group as Video is **not** supported for call and ring groups.

Video can be seen at any time by logging into the Algo interface and selecting Status | Video

### Configuring SRTP

1. If you need to configure SRTP on your Algo Video Intercom, under Basic Settings > SIP Settings, set the SIP Domain to ssbc.8x8.com:5433. ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/e3a59e39-abd3-4423-964c-0a4008dc5673/Images/Documentation/23886)
2. Under Advanced Settings > Advanced SIP, select TLS for SIP Transportation.
3. Select the option to Enable SIP Outbound Support.
