Log in and out of Ring Groups in 8x8 Work for mobile

If your administrator has enabled login and logout permissions for a ring group, you can control your availability to receive that group's calls directly from the 8x8 Work for Mobile app on iOS and android.

Steps to log in or out of Ring Groups

  1. Open the 8x8 Work for Mobile application on your device.

  2. Tap the Call tab located in the bottom navigation bar.

  3. Swipe left on the sub-menu displaying Missed, Voicemails, and Recordings to view more options.

  4. Locate and choose the Ring Groups tab from the sub-menu.
    The screen displays call options, highlighting 'Ring Groups' and user extension details.

  5. Tap the toggle switch adjacent to the desired ring group to update your status.

Note:

The Ring Groups tab and login/logout toggle only appear if your administrator has allowed members to log in and out of that ring group. If you don't see this option, contact your administrator.
