# One-Way Audio in Recordings Playback in 8x8 Work for Mobile on Android

## Symptom

User experiences one-way audio playback.

## Applies To

- 8x8 Work Mobile for Android

## Resolution

To adjust this behavior you need to enable Mono mode on your Android device.

5. Choose Device: You may also be able to choose which devices will use Mono audio.

## Cause

The audio in the recordings files are in stereo with separate streams for each side. Enabling Mono audio mode combines both streams into one.
