# Share Audio in an 8x8 Meeting

## Objective

Share audio through a browser tab while in an 8x8 meeting on 8x8 Work for Web or as a Windows user in 8x8 Work for Desktop.

## Applies To

- 8x8 Work for Desktop (Windows only)
- 8x8 Work for Web
- Google Chrome
- Microsoft Edge

## Procedure

1. Start a Meeting in [Chrome or Edge](https://8x8.vc/).
2. Select **Share your screen**.
3. Select **Chrome Tab** or **Microsoft Edge Tab**.

4. Toggle the setting to **Also share tab audio**.
5. Select tab for which you would like to share audio.
6. Select **Share**.

## Additional Information

On macOS the Share Audio option is available when sharing a Chrome or Edge tab.

On Windows the Share Audio option is available when sharing a Chrome tab, Edge tab, or your entire screen.
