Unpair a Panasonic Handset from a Non-Working Base

Objective

Unpair a handset from a non-working base so it can be paired with a new base.

Applies To

• Panasonic KX-TPA60

• Panasonic KX-UDT131

Procedure

Note:

These devices have reached end of sales and support

1. Confirm Handset is displaying No Service.

2. On the Handset, press Menu.

3. Select Setting Handset.

4. Navigate down and select System Option.

5. Select Cancel Base.

6. The base should be highlighted. Press the check button.  

7. Select Yes. 

8. Confirm the handset display says Register Unit.
