# Username is Required Message When Signing In to 8x8 Services

## Symptom

When signing in to 8x8 services, the login page displays a message that reads, *"Username is Required."*

## Applies To

- 8x8 Unified Login
- 8x8 Services

## Resolution

Check the URL in the address bar. It should say: [https://sso.8x8.com/v2/login](https://sso.8x8.com/v2/login). If not (example: [https://sso.8x8.com/login/](https://sso.8x8.com/login/)), change it to [https://sso.8x8.com/v2/login](https://sso.8x8.com/v2/login).
