# Where can I find the 8x8 Screen Recorder logs on an agent's machine?

## Question

Where can I find the 8x8 Screen Recorder logs on an agent's machine?

## Applies to

Quality Management (QM) customers with screen recording enabled.

## Answer

- For Windows users the log file is located in the folder C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\QualityManagement\ClientTray.
- For Mac users, the log file is located in the folder: /Users/USERNAME/QualityManagement/ScreenCapture/logs.

## Additional Information

There will only be one log file on a client machine. It will be the log file from the most recent screen recording attempt. As each attempt is made the previous log file is deleted.
