# Activate 8x8 Agent Workspace

> Applicable to **8x8 Contact Center** administrators only

As an **8x8 Contact Center** admin, you can now activate the **8x8 Agent Workspace** for all agents, specific agent-groups, and specific agents. You can further allow an agent to switch between the classic Agent Console and the new **8x8 Agent Workspace** applications.

As an admin, log into **8x8 Configuration Manager** to enable these settings.

**Activate 8x8 Agent Workspace for all agents:**

1. Log in Go to **Home > Profile**.
2. Under **Agent Experience Selection**, select **Agent Workspace** from the following options:
  - Agent Console
  - Agent Workspace - Activated across all agents

3. Click **Save**.

**Activate 8x8 Agent Workspace for an agent group:**

1. Go to **Agent Groups** from the menu.
2. From the list of groups, select to edit a group.
3. In **General**, under **Agent Experience Selection**, select **Agent Workspace** from the following options:
  - Agent Console
  - Agent Workspace - Activated for entire group

4. Click **Save**.

**Activate 8x8 Agent Workspace for an individual agent:**

1. Go to **Users** from the menu.
2. From the list, select a user to edit settings.
3. In **General**, under **Agent Experience Selection**, select **Agent Workspace** from the following options:
  - Agent Console
  - Agent Workspace - Activated for this agent
