# Check spelling in the case description

The **8x8 Contact Center** spell checker in the rich text editor scans and flags the words that may be spelled incorrectly. The spell checker highlights all unknown words. Click on a highlighted word to replace it with a suggestion, or ignore it.

> Note:
> 
> You do not have the option to ignore a suggestion in the context menu. You can simply ignore the words by not clicking on them.

**To spell check your content in the Case Description:**

1. The spell checker marks all unknown words in red.
2. 3. Replace the word with a suggestion, or ignore the word.
4.
