# Schedule meetings with 8x8 Meet

As a registered 8×8 Work user, you have access to a [personal meeting space unique to you](/documentation/docs/get-to-know-your-personal-meeting-space) and can turn an ordinary calendar event into a collaborative meeting. In addition, you have the ability to [launch a meeting instantly](/documentation/docs/work-for-desktop-schedule-meetings-with-8x8-meet) without scheduling to quickly mobilize your team.

You can schedule a meeting in one of the following ways:

- [Sync your calendar with 8x8 Meet](/documentation/docs/sync-your-calendar-with-8x8-meet): Schedule events from your synced calendar, and add meetings to your scheduled events from your 8x8 Work app.
- [Configure meeting settings in advance](/documentation/docs/configure-meeting-settings-in-advance): Configure key meeting settings before a meeting begins using supported add-ins, such as a Chrome extension for Google Calendar, Outlook add-in, or Google Calendar add-on.
- [Schedule meetings via the Google Calendar extension](/documentation/docs/schedule-meetings-via-google-calendar): Schedule in Google Calendar from start to finish with 8x8 Work Meetings. See how you can install the plug-in as an [8x8 Work user](/documentation/docs/content-install-8x8-meet-apps-and-integrations-for-8x8-work#google-plug-in).
- [Schedule meetings via the Office 365 add-in](/documentation/docs/schedule-meetings-via-office-365): Schedule in Office 365 from start to finish with 8x8 Work for Office 365. See how you can install the plug-in [as an 8x8 Work user](/documentation/docs/content-install-8x8-meet-apps-and-integrations-for-8x8-work#office-365-plug-in).
