# Mark favorite contacts

If you communicate with a company or personal contact under **Contacts ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/e3a59e39-abd3-4423-964c-0a4008dc5673/Images/Documentation/icon-contacts_18x18.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-03T21%3A08%3A33Z&se=2026-11-03T22%3A08%3A33Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=5p1CAOBKvOozS50XfN4090yJ9g6qvksq7cwNtTiSd68%3D)** frequently, you can mark them as a favorite for quick access in **8x8 Work for Desktop**.

> 8x8 Work supports up to 1700 favorites contacts.

**To mark and access a favorite contact:**

1. Go to **Contacts ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/e3a59e39-abd3-4423-964c-0a4008dc5673/Images/Documentation/icon-contacts_18x18.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-03T21%3A08%3A33Z&se=2026-11-03T22%3A08%3A33Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=5p1CAOBKvOozS50XfN4090yJ9g6qvksq7cwNtTiSd68%3D) > Company** or **Contacts ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/e3a59e39-abd3-4423-964c-0a4008dc5673/Images/Documentation/icon-contacts_18x18.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-03T21%3A08%3A33Z&se=2026-11-03T22%3A08%3A33Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=5p1CAOBKvOozS50XfN4090yJ9g6qvksq7cwNtTiSd68%3D) > My Contacts**.
2. Hover over the desired contact, and then click the **More ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/e3a59e39-abd3-4423-964c-0a4008dc5673/Images/Documentation/icon_MoreVertical_18x18.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-03T21%3A08%3A33Z&se=2026-11-03T22%3A08%3A33Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=5p1CAOBKvOozS50XfN4090yJ9g6qvksq7cwNtTiSd68%3D)** option that appears to open a drop-down menu.
3. From the drop-down, select **Contact info** to open the contact details.
4. While in the contact details, click **Mark Favorite Contact ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/e3a59e39-abd3-4423-964c-0a4008dc5673/Images/Documentation/icon-favorite-quick_18x18.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-03T21%3A08%3A33Z&se=2026-11-03T22%3A08%3A33Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=5p1CAOBKvOozS50XfN4090yJ9g6qvksq7cwNtTiSd68%3D)** to mark them as a favorite contact. The contact is now listed under **Contacts ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/e3a59e39-abd3-4423-964c-0a4008dc5673/Images/Documentation/icon-contacts_18x18.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-03T21%3A08%3A33Z&se=2026-11-03T22%3A08%3A33Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=5p1CAOBKvOozS50XfN4090yJ9g6qvksq7cwNtTiSd68%3D) > Favorites**.

**To remove a contact from favorites:**

1. Go to **Contacts ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/e3a59e39-abd3-4423-964c-0a4008dc5673/Images/Documentation/icon-contacts_18x18.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-03T21%3A08%3A33Z&se=2026-11-03T22%3A08%3A33Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=5p1CAOBKvOozS50XfN4090yJ9g6qvksq7cwNtTiSd68%3D) > Favorites**.
2. Hover over the desired contact, and then click the **More ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/e3a59e39-abd3-4423-964c-0a4008dc5673/Images/Documentation/icon_MoreVertical_18x18.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-03T21%3A08%3A33Z&se=2026-11-03T22%3A08%3A33Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=5p1CAOBKvOozS50XfN4090yJ9g6qvksq7cwNtTiSd68%3D)** option that appears to open a drop-down menu.
3. From the drop-down, select **Contact info** to open the contact details.
4. While in the contact details, click **Favorite Contact ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/e3a59e39-abd3-4423-964c-0a4008dc5673/Images/Documentation/icon-favorite-remove_18x18.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-03T21%3A08%3A33Z&se=2026-11-03T22%3A08%3A33Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=5p1CAOBKvOozS50XfN4090yJ9g6qvksq7cwNtTiSd68%3D)** to remove them from your favorites. The contact is no longer listed under your favorites.
