# Set your profile image

Put a face to your name in the **8x8 Work for Desktop contact directory** by uploading your photo to your profile.

**To upload your profile image:**

1. Click the profile image icon in the header to access your profile information.
2. In the screen that opens, click the larger profile image to bring up a window.
3. In the window that pops up, select **Upload Picture**.
4. Browse through your image files, and select.
5. Click **Save** to upload your image. Once you upload your profile image, it becomes visible in the company directory to other users.

> Note:
> 
> You may upload profile pictures that are up to 10 MB in size.

**To remove your profile image:**

1. Click the profile image icon in the header to access your profile information.
2. In the screen that opens, click the larger profile image to bring up a window.
3. In the window that pops up, select **Remove**. Your profile image is removed, and replaced with your initials.
