# Reset username or password (Unified Login)

As an **8x8 Contact Center** administrator, if you forget your username or password to log in to **8x8 Configuration Manager**, you can reset them. The link in your email is your gateway to change the username or password. The changes takes effect from your next login session.

**To reset username or password:**

1. Go to [https://login.8x8.com](https://sso.8x8.com/v2/login).
2. Click to reset one of the following items:
  - **Username:** In the Username/Email login screen that opens, click **Forgot**. In the **Find your username** screen, enter your work email address and click **Find your username**. Your username is sent to you in an email.   - **Password:** In the Password screen that opens, click **Forgot**. Enter your 8x8 username and click **Send reset link**. An email with the instructions to reset your password is sent to your email address. Click the link in your email and follow the instructions. Enter a new password. Click **Login**. The password is changed, and you receive a confirmation email.
