# How to Configure 8x8 Customer Notifications

## Objective

Add, update, or remove email contacts for 8x8 service notifications.

## Applies To

- Contact Center for Configuration Manager
- 8x8 Customer Notifications
- Maintenance Notification

## Procedure

Steps for adding, editing, or deleting contacts from the 8x8 Customer Notifications.

1. Login to [8x8 Application Panel](http://apps.8x8.com)
2. Click the **Contact Center for Configuration Manager** tile (with administration access).
3. Click **Home**.
4. Select **Profile**.
5. Look for the *Maintenance email distribution list***.**
6. Enter the desired email address(es).

> Note:
> 
> There is a character limit for the field to add contact email addresses. It is best practice to create an email alias or group with a single address to be added here, or keep the list of contacts pared down to a reasonably manageable amount (5 or fewer).
  - If entering multiple addresses, separate them with a comma (,).
7. ## Additional Information

- All VCC customers are automatically added to the notification tool.
- The notification email addresses will be populated via the maintenance contact field in Contact Center for Configuration Manager. **Caveat**: If the you have more than one tenant, all maintenance contacts will need to be added to all tenants.
- The Primary admin email address is always added to the contacts.
