Overview
You can now configure more than one Single Sign-On (SSO) identity provider on a single 8x8 account. This is useful when different groups of users authenticate through different providers — for example during a merger or migration, or across separate business units.
Adding more providers does not change the SSO settings for your existing users. They keep their current provider and continue to sign in as they do today. No action is required for existing users.
This article covers what is new with multiple providers. If you are new to SSO, see the Set up Single Sign-On articles first.

Add another provider
Adding a second or third provider works the same way as adding your first one. On the Identity and Security page, click + Add SSO, select the identity provider, give it a clear label, and enter its details. Use a clear, distinct label for each provider. The label is the name administrators see when they assign a provider to users, so similar or duplicate labels make providers hard to tell apart.
You can add more than one of most SAML providers. The exception is Google: you can configure only one Google provider per account. For the specific fields each provider needs, see the setup article for that provider.
Set a default provider
When you add a provider, you can mark it as the default by enabling Set this provider as default. The default provider affects only new users. Any user added after you set the default is automatically assigned to it. Existing users are not changed. Each user is assigned to one provider at a time. The sign-in experience does not change for your users.
Change which provider a user uses
You can change a user’s assigned provider for many users at once, or for a single user.
Change SSO for Multiple Users
Go to Home > Users.
Select the users you want to update.
Click More, then Change SSO. The More menu appears at the top right once you have selected users.
In the Update SSO dialog, select the provider to assign. The list shows the providers configured on the Identity and Security page, by their labels.
Click Continue to apply the provider to all selected users.
Change SSO for a Single User
Go to Home > Users and open the user’s record to edit.
Go to the Single Sign-On (SSO) section. You can scroll to it or use the quick-jump menu on the left.
Under Select the identity provider for this user, select a provider.
Click Save at the bottom of the page.
