Set up your Voice for Teams service

To enable and configure your 8x8 Voice for Microsoft Team service, follow the  processes outlined below:

• Access the 8x8 Voice for Microsoft Teams admin portal

• 8x8 Voice for Teams wizard pre-check

• Configure and enable the service in the admin portal

• Voice for Teams Sync

Important:

It is critical to log in to 8x8 Voice for Microsoft Teams admin portal with the credentials for the Microsoft 365 account being configured!

• Signing in with credentials of the wrong Microsoft 365 account will authorize changes to that account.

• The admin user account requires Global Administrator rights to the Microsoft 365 tenant for the initial setup and any changes to regions.

• In general, you need at least a Team Administrator or Teams Communication Administrator role for subsequent user provisioning (Voice for Teams admin portal Sync Now).
