To enable and configure your 8x8 Voice for Microsoft Team service, follow the processes outlined below:
Important:
It is critical to log in to 8x8 Voice for Microsoft Teams admin portal with the credentials for the Microsoft 365 account being configured!
Signing in with credentials of the wrong Microsoft 365 account will authorize changes to that account.
The admin user account requires Global Administrator rights to the Microsoft 365 tenant for the initial setup and any changes to regions.
In general, you need at least a Team Administrator or Teams Communication Administrator role for subsequent user provisioning (Voice for Teams admin portal Sync Now).
