The User Status report in Analytics for 8x8 Work provides real-time visibility into employee activity across your organization using two distinct views:

  • Cards view: The new default layout upon opening the report, displaying each user as a color-coded card.

  • Table view: The classic tabular layout for detailed real-time tracking of employee status and activity in 8x8 Work.

It helps administrators and supervisors:

  • Track live user status in 8x8 Work.

  • Quickly locate users by name, extension, or status.

  • Monitor team availability and call activity in real time.

You can toggle between them using the tabs in the report header.

Note:

  • The User Status report focuses on current, live data and does not display Previous Status or Previous Status Start Time values.

Features

  • Card view: View users as a grid of color-coded status cards, ideal for scanning team availability at a glance, or as a detailed table. The report opens in Cards view. Switch views at any time using the toggle in the report header.

  • Real-time insights:  Data automatically refreshes every five seconds—no manual action required.

  • Persistent filters: Keeps filters and column selections when navigating away.

  • PBX Filtering: View data from a single PBX at a time by selecting it from the PBX filter. However, view preferences aren't retained, so the report consistently defaults to Cards view when you open it.

  • Enhanced search: Quickly locate users by PBX, name, extension, or live status.

Benefit

  • Gain real-time visibility into live user status.

  • Consistent, modern analytics experience across 8x8 products.

  • Faster and easier monitoring for admins and supervisors.
