Select an Authentication Method for Your Users in 8x8 Admin Console

Objective

Configure whether users are able to log in to 8x8 services using their 8x8 username and password, SSO, or both.

Procedure

1. Log in to Admin Console.

2. Select dentity and Security.

3. Use the toggle switches on the right to enable login using 8x8 Authentication, Single Sign-On Integration (SSO), or both.

4. If your users will be using a third-party SSO to log in, proceed to configure the SSO settings.
   

Additional Information

Users assigned Admin roles will still be able to log in using their 8x8 username and password when 8x8 Authentication is disabled.
