Import locations in bulk

To eliminate manual configuration, the 8x8 Location Manager allows you to import and manage sites in bulk using a CSV file.

The CSV import supports the following:

  • Rapid provisioning: Upload a single CSV file to provision multiple locations simultaneously.

  • Data validation: The system validates the CSV during upload to ensure address formats and IDs are correct.

  • Standardized metadata: Ensures every location is added with consistent contact information.

Note:

Bulk import currently applies to sites only. Support for additional object types, including auto attendants, users, and ring groups, is planned for future releases.

To import multiple locations:

  1. Log in to the 8x8 Admin Console.

  2. Go to Home > 8x8 App Store.

  3. Select Location Manager.

  4. On the My Locations page, select Add locations > Bulk add locations via file upload.
